PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
PD 500 Series Potential Drop System

The PD-500 Series Potential Drop mainframe includes a PD-501 current module with 20 amps (120 watts max) of reversing DC current. Up to five dual channel PD-502 amplifiers can also be supported. This system was specifically designed for the precise current and amplifier stability necessary for the reversing DC potential drop method of monitoring crack length. Both active and reference probes can be accommodated. Current reversing and voltage measurement are synchronized with the FTA data acquisition and control software. Rack mount and table-top units are available. The PD-500 is manufactured by Fracture Systems Research in Macungie, PA.
